Thank God and praise God for reminding us to love and bless our parents. It was wonderful time to see the parents smile and tear, the children pluck up courage to tell their parents that they are grateful and love them. May each of you continue to shine at home and be a blessing to your parents!

Today is nursery duty with 1-3yr old lovely babies. I love the part where the young children give their offerings.

Each child was given 2 little biscuit buns, they are to hold in their hands...self-control means not to pop them into mouth! many hold it so tightly and were so ready to eat it! well, they were taught that God is good and God loves a cheerful giver. A little basket was passed around and the kids were to give 1 biscuit to the Lord and 1 biscuit they can eat. Initially I thought they would surely cry to give that biscuit away! To my amazement, the little children willingly throw that 1 biscuit into the basket and eat the other biscuit. Since they are such good kids, they were later rewarded by more biscuits =D

The little lesson is, the little children are able to give back to the Lord. Can you also give back to teh Lord? Or is it the paradox where the older you are, the harder it is to give?

Surrender to the Lord with all your heart. As you give your BEST to the Lord, He is pleased and will pour forth His abundant grace into your lives. Give to the Lord your best time as a youth... give to the Lord your heart with undivided devotion... give to the Lord that honor by living a righteous life to be pure and importantly, give those words to encourage, bless and intercede. God loves a cheerful giver!
