thanks my gal for sharing your thoughts...that was precious =D

hee...here's grandma story too... when i just knew God, i found it difficult to tithe. In fact even stingy as to cheat bus fare with the transitlink card...$0.10, $0.20 etc haha...yes, yes, pls dont laugh, i was one of those that promoted EZlink so that you cant cheat... on those days that i travel to sunday service, i just feel strange...the awkwardness that's difficult to explain. worst when i get caught by the conductor...what a shame right? slowly i learn to give to God by the $0.10 and $0.20...just GIVING back what i owe. Even tithes...the $20 out of my $200 tuition lesson was so painful. but i truly found that i was not at all poorer even when i give!

this week gonna give my 13th month tithe to God too! and praise the Lord I lack no good thing! God gives as we give to Him =D

Come...taste and see that the LORD is good!

I have to confess that for my days as a daughter of God, i haven been giving my tithes. Though i do give offerings.. But deep down, i know that i'm able to give that 10%.. But, often i just deceive myself by saying that i wouldn't have enough to last through the month... In the end, i spend it heavily on shopping...

And as i was reading Brother Charles's blog, he as a NS man who earn a small amount is willing to give his 10% to the Lord... ANd for me... The Lord has blessed me so much throughout my days as a daughter of HIs.. Why can't i give? I began to check myself... I realize that at times i can't even give small treats to some of my friends and am very sensitive with money matter.

As i began to learn from the bible,

2Corinthians9:7-8- Eachman should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under complusion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

2Corinthians 8:9- For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you though His poverty might become rich.

Proverbs3:9-10- HOnour the Lord with all your wealth, with the firstfruit of all your crops; Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Malachi 3:10- Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,: says the Lord Almighty," and see if i will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessings that you will not have room enough for it.Would you dare to test the Lord? And i had experience it ... From the day i gave the first tithes to the Lord before the last week of 2006.. The blessings is so overwhelming... And i'm able to give with a willing heart now. It is a blessings to give.. than to receive.. :)

Looking at the photo taken with Ps Khong last sunday i'm so delighted... i regret never ask him to do the "Grow deep, Look far, Ask big" actions together to take the pictures... whahaha... it's the actions that help me to remember.. thank you Ps Khong.. otherwise i will go ask deep, look big grow far and whatsoever words that doesnt make sense.... lolx.. The next time got chance again shall ask him to do the actions....;p Ps Khong i'm proud of you! Ps Khong so charming.. hee.. He look better without makeup... :) Thank you sisters for not 'fighting' - Let me stand beside Ps Khong all ALONE.. hee... Thank you sister qiu ling and yan fen who look for me when they saw Ps Khong jus to let me catch a grim of my idol... (we manage to take pic with him.. bouns!) thank you sis wendy & mummy aunna for taking pics for us.... abby ow was so nervous when she helping us(jia hui & me) take pic with Ps Khong... :) in the end wendy was the one takin... wendy was nervous too that the pic took not balance (with more space on my side).. whahaha....

indeed Ps Khong the father of FCBC is someone we look up to... that explain all the gan chong-ness... lolx...

i put the pic took with Ps Khong as wallpaper on my desktop.. i was doing proj and study for test last night... whenever i see the pic... it was as though that he was telling me "in everything you do, glory God!"... Even though i was tired, i'm energy-filled everytime i saw the pic... Whahaha.. how powerful.... all glory goes to God! Lord i thank You for Ps Khong...Thank You for the things You input to us thr Ps Khong.... Lord I pray that You will continue to use Ps Khong mightily...

Glad to start the new year "with" ps khong... ;)
