I realised that even though i was the one who started this blog account, i have yet to post an entry. after much bugging from my ever-naggy (kidding!) mother, here i am!

Decided to post the lyrics as an opening to this entry. It's my baby from my Chinese Music and Lyrics module that i took last semester. I had to write a new set of lyrics to a song and the above was IT! hehe. am quite proud of it 'cause my partner and i wrote it in one day and boy we felt accomplished when we got back a "B" for our hard work.

Just a little background info, the song we used was from a Hong Kong band called Alive and the title 《夜曲》. our song was written from a guy's point of view. He had been a close friend of a girl and had fallen for her. The girl was often surrounded by many other suitors and never really cared about the guy. in a sense, she took his presence forgranted. the guy was hurt by her actions and often reminisced about their closer times. it then came to a point where he deicided to give up on this impossible relationship but he still chose to be by her side , shielding her from all hurts and supporting her in everything.

My lyrics may not be the best but i'm proud of it still. ha, it has God's stamp of accomplishment on it!

i still remember how Karmen(my partner) and i were like in the library cracking our brains on how to find the right words to fit the melody, we even had to rope in the help of her boyfriend! I then prayed silently for God to like help us in our apparent words-drought and voila! God struck the both of us with inspiration and we wrote furiously for the next 30 mins and finished our song!

so yup, enjoy the song above...may i write better and more songs in the days to come!

To all darlings of aunna,

Truly words cannot express...I thank God for each and everyone of you that God has placed in my life (young and old). Through this period when my heart becomes teary and sad at the lost of my daddy, you gals have been great encouragement. Esp my G12 who rushed down just to be there for me before i speed my way back home.

Thanks for the bidae performance, really love it. Enjoyed all the efforts you gals have put in. It was a JOY to see you gals coming together to partner and encourage one another. i see many brand new singers/guitarist/drummer/dancers! You gals really have a lot of POTENTIAL...use it to SHINE for the LORD. make His name BEAUTIFUL. To those who are having exams, jiayou and will keep you all in prayer. Thanks for the beautiful gift =D

John 1:3

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Any electronic product you buy comes with an instruction booklet which says, "Do not send to any unauthorised dealer for maintenance or repairs." So when something in your body or in your life breaks down, you go back to God, your Creator and Maker. You go to Jesus because God's Word tells us that "all things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made". In fact, the Bible says that in the beginning, God created everything by speaking (Genesis 1), and Jesus was the Word that caused everything to family, your finances are low or something in your body stops working,you go to God the Father and speak the name of Jesus over your situation. And Jesus can create all things for you anew.

This happened to a church member's aunt who had her cancerous kidney removed, only to find her post-operation X-ray results showing two kidneys still in her body. The doctor who investigated the matter found that the cancerous kidney had indeed been removed, and miraculously replaced by a brand new kidney that was perfect, with no trace of cancer!

A mother testified of how God gave her back a brand new daughter who used to be a very rebellious teenager. The day the girl gave her life to Jesus marked the start of a new life with her family. She also became the face to look out for in the national swimming arena. When asked by reporters about her record-breaking feats, she told them it was Jesus who did it all for her!

A lady once approached me and said, "Pastor, I don't know if you still remember me, but I came to you before when I was a divorcee. This is my husband - the same man I divorced some years ago. We remarried and these are our children!" Now this doesn't usually happen in cases where divorce has taken place, but this couple looked to Jesus and saw their broken family made whole! When man puts something that has been broken back together, it is usually not as good as before. But when Jesus does it, all things become new! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
